Samsung licenses Radeon graphics technologies from AMD
Samsung Electronics will enter a multi year license with AMD and will integrate custom graphics technologies based on the recently announced, highly scalable RDNA graphics architecture into its future System-on-Chips for mobile applications.
CES 2019: AMD announces 7nm Radeon VII graphics card with 16 GB of hbm2 memory
During today’s CES 2019 keynote, Lisa Su’s presented the Radeon VII, the successor to AMD’s current top performing video card, the Vega 64. The new card is aptly named Radeon VII, as reference to it being the first card to be produced on a 7 nm process.
Computex ’18: AMD demonstrates first 7 nm Vega gpu
During the Computex keynote, AMD revealed the very first 7 nm gpu. The Vega gpu sample was powering a Radeon Instinct accelerator card with 32 GB of high bandwidth memory (hbm2).
